Crafted with polished onyx stones and freshwater pearls, it has a modern look that is both bold and tasteful. The contrast of glossy black onyx, luminous pearls and gold creates an elegant piece. A toggle clasp offers easy closure and a cute design: gold-plated, or 14k gold-filled if you prefer.

Onyx: a note from Alyssa
I naturally feel and absorb a lot, both emotionally and energetically. This can be a superpower — one I deeply value for supporting my work with clients, connecting with others, and feeling the world. But some spaces are so emotionally and energetically intense that I want protection.
Enter onyx.
Onyx is connected to the root chakra and is known to offer energetic protection and grounding. It helps prevent overwhelm by strengthening boundaries and absorbing or neutralizing negativity, dense energy, and chaos. It’s said to reduce your absorption of others’ emotions and also to absorb and transmute your own negativity — softening its outward expression and protecting you karmically. All good things.
I wear onyx to ecstatic dances, festivals, large gatherings in the city, and when offering emotional release sessions or when wanting to stay present and open in emotionally charged situations. It’s especially helpful indoors, where energy feels like it bounces around like an echo chamber without the grounding presence of nature.
Onyx is a stunning, glass-like stone. In my necklace, bracelet and earring set, I’ve amplified and glamorized its beauty by pairing it with 14k gold-filled beads, wire, and clasps, along with freshwater pearls. The stones are 6mm, and 8mm for earrings.
My onyx and moss agate mala (actually my very first gemstone creation) is an example of a more unisex design. The 8mm onyx stones are paired with moss agate, a green-and-white stone that offers grounding and stability — bringing the soothing power of nature to you. Its design is lightweight and the knotted nylon cord withstands the elements — from sweaty dance floors to lake swims.

Shipping & pickup
Tracked shipping within Canada. The cost depends on your address and the parcel, so I’ll confirm it before you pay. You’re also welcome to pick up your piece in Montréal: we’ll schedule an appointment.
Outside Canada? Contact me first. You’re responsible for your country’s tariffs, and I’ll tell you the total for shipping and tariffs, to be paid in advance. If it’s too much, you can cancel any time before I’ve shipped your piece.

I offer fittings or adjustments for all pieces, and I can make many designs at the length or size you prefer — just ask.
Caring for your jewelry
Put pearls and gemstones on last — after perfume, lotion and hairspray — and wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store each piece on its own in a pouch or box so nothing scratches, and keep silver somewhere dry to slow tarnishing.
